This design is inspired by Sokka from Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender. The show is set in a world inhabitated by four nations: The Water Tribe, The Earth Kingdom, The Fire Nation, and The Air Nomads. Each nation has the ability to "bend" or manipulate its own respective element: water, earth, fire, or air.
Sokka is Katara's brother and Suki's love interest. Sokka joins his sister and Aang to help Aang with his quest. He is a nonbender, meaning he cannot manipulate any of the elements. However, he does just fine with his trusty boomerang!
